Is it possible to be hacked if you just go to a website?

I thought it wasn't possible as long as you don't download anything, but my friend was telling me you can get hacked simpily by visiting a website?

Is that true? And if it is, what should I do? Just change my password?

Thread moved by Dinasaw (Trialist Forum Moderator) from 'Scams' please post in the correct forum next time, thanks.

Well not hacked, but you can get keylogged via automaticly downloading cookies but aslong as u down visit dodgy sites like freehabbocreds.tk (just an example) you should be alright.

My msn got hacked recently (no idea how, since I don't visit any dodgy websites) and they got hold of my password for one of the sites that I own.

I went on that website, and saw that they had changed everything on it. I'm worried that they may have also added something on it which makes it possible to hack my habbo account?

I don't even know if that's possible, so I'm just wondering if I should change my password. Because my msn got hacked as well, and I've never visited any dodgy sites.

I scanned my computer recently, and there's nothing.
I also can't get back on my msn at the moment, since they changed my secret question etc.

Thanks a lot for your help, I was just a bit worried if I could get hacked by visiting the site.

Another easy thing is changing passwords every nown and then, just to be on the safe side.
