I'm going to Orlando in July and assuming The Wizarding World of Harry Potter opens on the 18th of June like it is supposed to I'm going there
I've been to Orlando before so am looking forward to returning to Disney, Sea World etc but as nerdy as it sounds I'm looking forward to this the most (h)

Hey Dan,
We go over to Florida on holiday several times a year and we've been following the progress of the new HP section since building and planning started a couple of years ago. We were last there 4th - 22nd April (should have been back home on the 17th but were stuck with the ash) and got some pictures of the area.
The first picture is Hogwarts Castle.. you'll be surprised at how big it looks from a distance, but how small it actually is when you get close up. Forced perspective at it's best!
Being 6ft 2, I could get my camera over the top of the building walls and got some shots of Hogsmeade
You can see the Hogwarts Express and the Owlery (a wooden owl comes out of it's little box every 15 minutes) in Hogsmeade village - complete with snow topped rooves.
If it's a while since you were at SeaWorld too - the Shamu show has totally changed.. the trainers no longer swim with the killer whales due to the recent death. There is also a new roller coaster called Manta. Just like "Air" at Alton Towers, you lay on your front. My new favourite coaster!

Dan I really am jealous of you right now. I haven't been on holiday in years
The Harry Potter park does look cool though so maybe someday I'll make it back there

It has been nearly five years since we have been so I'm looking forward to seeing everything that has changed but will also be looking forward to returning to see my old favourties (Hollywood Tower of Terror, Rockin Rollercoaster etc)
Edit: I was going to rep you Matt but it appears that I need to spread (even though I don't remember the last time I gave rep to anyone!) shows how much I rep huh?
