basically,
yesterday i decided to make an account on blogger.. out of boredom i guess.
and i stumbled across the blog of someone i used to be very close to..
and by the looks of it they're not having a good time.
basically they go out doing drugs all of the time, getting drunk all of the time, only one of the blogs on there was written when they were sober/clean.. they've had a knife held to there throat and they've been mugged and stuff

so, at first it made me think, like ha, they're finally realising you can't get through life thinking your invincible (it sounds harsh but me and them didn't end on the best terms), but now i think about it and re-read it i really like, want to try and talk to them and be there,
because it seems to me that they don't really have anyone..
but i don't know how to try and talk to them, because in all honesty i think they'd tell me to get lost if i tried being there for them -.-'

i just wanna let the past stay in the past, we both did wrong and i wanna be there for the person before they end up getting killed or overdosing on meth or something

Yeah, give them a quick message and check up on how they're doing.

I know you said things ended on bad terms but life is way too short to hold grudges. Sometimes you have to put it aside and remember that you were once close to them and I'm sure they would really appreciate you checking if they are alright.

message them to see how they are doing, say stuff like "its been along time, how you been" dont drag yourself into their mess though.

I think the best thing is at least offer your help, they sound like they could really do with someone right now. What do you have to lose? You're not close to them atm anyway, sure it's make or break but if they throw it back in your face then that's their decision and at least you know where you'll stand.
