I personally think if i get a C i'll be lucky i did amazing opening paragraphs and then just mumbled on about aloud of crap... i even forgot what prejudice was but luckily i started writing about racism, and prejudice is basically similar to that, how bout you guys, think it was hard?

It was fine, it had me wondering when I saw the questions but I managed to come up with good stuff I think. The poem for WJEC was particularly easily.

I decided to do the question about animals for "of Mice and Men" - thought it was ok; got all the main points down and explained.

For the poems (Duffy and Armitage) I decided to do the one about "disturbed behaviour" I really can't say how I did on it. I got the points down but maybe could have improved on the structure. Hopefully I'll get the B I need for sixth form

    Good luck to everyone!

the one about the summers day with the grasshopper?

i put that it was a metaphore of life & the part where it said something like 'it shot its wings open and floated away' i put it was a metaphore for taking a quick desision and getting on with it

i was also sat right at the front it's a good job i took a watch or else i had no time guidelines :|

Oh I did something similar. I said the grasshopper was symbolic of life problems, and when it washed it's face and flew away, the person was moving on from their problems and enjoying the beauty of summer. Some sht like that anyway haha.

yeah it was alright, think I probs got a B and seeing as I got A* in coursework should be good I thought edexcel had quite nice questions, the of mice and men ones where hard though. I did the one about prejudice too, lord knows how many times I spelt it wrong though :@. I ended up writing quite a lot about Curleys wife, a sizeable amount about Crookes then a bit just about george n lennie. My poetry was quite hard, but my modern prose or w/e was good.

lol yeah, i couldn't think logically at the time so i just thought if i look into it more than necessary i might get the marks

i wrote just over 2 pages for it lol

oh i also put for the part where it askes you what you liked about the poem that i liked the way the poet started off on a big scale 'who made the earth?' and then went into detail 'the grasshoppe was eating sugar from my palm'
