google chrome help

i don't really care if it's in the wrong section, i've got better things to do with my life than trapse through categories. move it if you must.

ANYWAY, basically it won't work. i was on it yday and it closed - now it won't re-open. i've restarted my pc, cleared cache etc. etc. and i've tried to find it on ctrl+alt+del under processes to end it but i can't find it helfen?

also, my firefox won't open either :S

There's a trick to get it to work, are you running Win XP or Vista/7?

Try this:
Start -> run -> "cmd" -> ok

1) Paste the following line:
cd "%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application\0*\Installer\"

2) Press enter, then type:
setup.exe --rename-chrome-exe

Press enter and try chrome again.

If 1) says not found, try changing the 0 to 1 or 2
