Default Schools History Project - Wed 9th June

Anyone doing the Schools History Project exam on Wednesday 9th June (Paper 1)? It's morning.
Mine will be about Medicine Through Time and the American West..

Rather scared about this one, need it for 6th Form and I just hope it's an easy paper, there is so much to revise.

I'm in Year 10, and they've changed it - they've split the sections; so I'm only doing Medicine through time tomorrow and American west next year. There's SOO much to revise :|

    Sick off it.
Hippocrates influenced Galen with his four humours theory who then came up with the opposites. His ideas fit in with the christian belief that humans were created by one god therefore weren't challenged for over 1000 years. No-one dared challenge because it was punishable by death to challenge the church; this hindered developments through he middle ages.

    Argh!

Oh that's not good. I'd be so annoyed if we'd been taught all the wrong things.. lol!
Spoke to my teacher just before leaving the revision session today and he says I need to get about 65% of the paper right for a B. Seems fair enough to me.

Only doing Medicine tomorrow then? You have it so easy, lol!
Take pity on me who has twice as much information to remember, doing American West as well

Spent 4 hours in school revising and been doing lots since I got home. Think I'm quite prepared for the part Medicine now, just read the parts on American West before bed and it should be ok.

Good luck to everyone sitting it tomorrow
And of course, I'm doing Physics tomorrow afternoon so good luck to those in that

I'm doing the International Relations and Germany paper which has a lot about the League of Nations, Peace Treaties after WW1 and other stuff. Then have the second part of the paper which is the German Depth Study. Then got the British Paper on some other day (Think it's Friday)! So yeah your sounds boring, but sounds a hell of a lot easier.

As long as you know what the people did and what effect it had on medicine I doubt you'd lose marks for not remembering their names. After all, there might not even be a question on them

That's why my teacher decided to do Medicine + American West over Germany and Crime & Punishment for example - there's just too many dates and treaties to remember!
