right i kno this probably aint new but i cant believe he is gone! i thought he was staying cos merge is going to .com but i guess not, heres part of the article:

After digging and digging through the furni in the Habbo basement, we came to its dead end. A teleporter left open with Cresthawk's hat inside. Under the hat was a note...the final words we would read from our lost Habbo Staff member.
"Over the past 2 weeks I have been on the most amazing and scary journey of my life. I have come face to face with a T-Rex, Primordial Ooze, ancient Egyptian guards, and a countless number of other creatures and beings. Oh, and best of all, Rascal Flatts continued to make music (about 20 more albums) so I have a lot of listening to catch up on. The bad news: I only have enough furni to create one more time travel machine. I'll be sending you this message and something I've held very dear to me over my time...but I'm sad to say that I must remain here, in the future. I ask that you do not attempt to follow me as I am afraid you too might become stuck in time as I am. At least I'll have NASCAR and some rocking country tunes to occupy me. Through all the trials, turmoil and danger...it looks like it all paid off. Cresthawk inadvertently stumbled across his own personal heaven in the future. Maybe it's karma...maybe it's destiny? Either way, we hope for the best. Good luck, bud!

The main reason Sulake merged the hotels, to get rid of a large amount of staff.

Thats what I was thinking actually. From the post above me (Jack210) Although I wouldn't see why, the amount of teenagers with contract mobiles and no idea what the word recession means.

Another reason of the merge is to get rid of loads of staff (which Jack210 said) so they don't have to pay as many staff and they save money.
