Welcome message?

I know i only registered today but thought i would give my 2cents. Why not make that message come from the head person or forum manager? Because although the account has donator it really isnt all inviting, would make new people (like myself) feel more welcome when they first join?

NOTE: The message is below, the message itself is fine it just the account it comes from isn't exactly welcoming.

Welcome to the forum and thank you for your feedback. I recently suggested this in a department report outside of the public eye, I feel it would be better if the message came from MattGarner - our General Manager. This is good for two reasons, first it will look more inviting but also members can reply to the PM and get a friendly, helpful response. I will look into having this changed as soon as possible .

This has now been changed so it comes from MattGarner.

I have suggested it many times and once to Oli but it never happened as I was told the account got very few replies. Glad to see it being changed now though.

I looked into re-writing this as Assistant Forum Manager and was rejected by our Former General Manager.

I will look into dragging out my rewrite of the PM and hopefully get that updated too, as the PM is very long winded and is also a put off in my opinion.

Glad to see it's been changed to MattGarner, it's been needed for a while Welcome to the Forum and this is a great suggestion.
