Wink Web Designers and Developers needed for Design Agency

    Hi all.

My name is James Clare and I am currently creative director, and a front-end developer at my own company, Full Pencil Design.

I know there are lots of people on this forum that are very good at both the design and development of websites.

I am looking for a reliable team of designers and developers to outsource work too, paid of course.

You will be paid for all work you complete, and issued with your own email address for the business.

If you are able to design nice layouts in Photoshop, or able to code a Valid XHTML site using CSS, please get in touch!

If anyone is interested, please email me at [email protected] with your contact details, and some evidence of your work.

    Many thanks,

    James Clare

Logo looks rubbish because it's saved in a dodgy format.

    1) Wrong forum to ask unless you are also a 14 year old wannabe businessman.
    2) You provide no information other than "All paid of course". What's the rate, how often will the work be, what sort of clients?
    3) You don't even have your own website up and running. Which suggests to me you just want to bring clients in, and get the developers to run the business for you. You have to chip in and know the industry yourself.
    4) That logo, for a creative company, is absolutely dire.

Think things through first. This comes across as a late night brainwave that you are desperately trying to get traction for.

Why does he have to chip into the developing side of things himself? As long as he brings the clients in thats surely sufficient? You don't see Richard Branson chipping in by commercially flying one of his jets across the atlantic, so why does he have to chip into the development of a clients request?

Where on earth did I say he had to do the developing. I believe it is vital that a company owner knows his trade, if he is fronting the clients he needs to know the solutions to their requests as they are coming in. Running a business where you have to keep asking people what will be done, how things will work is completely pointless. Knowing what to do what your developers are doing, and too a damn high standard means you can vet work properly before it goes out to the client.

99.9% of all people who post threads like this on this forum want other people to do the work for them.

If you asked Richard Branson about his jets, he will know pretty much everything about them. As quite clearly he knows how to run a business.

    Thanks for your comments guys.

Just for the record, I came to this site mainly because from past experience I am aware there are lot of good developers looking for work, who simply aren't available to get it.

If you feel the need to sit on here and comment on others posts negatively, please don't let me stop you.

In response to your comments, I have been a web developer for the past 6 years, working with a range of National clients around the UK. The reason I am looking for some developers, is a) I know how hard it is to start up in this field of work, and b) I have a lot of work coming in, that I simply cannot complete on my own - hence we also do not have our own website, it is simply not needed at present.

If anyone is still interested in the offer, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

    Many thanks,

    James
