    Default Online Hacking Game!?

    Hey Der!

    I was recently thinking of something to make or do because i am extremely bored..

    And i was thinking of a text based, online game based around hacking. You basically create an account, and do think such as hack computers, rank up, do missions, kill people, escape prison..

    Has anybody got any ideas that you would like to see if you were to play a game like this? And would you play it?

    So it would be like Hellboundhackers/Hackthissite?

    Personally I don't really see the point in running around hacking things for the sake of it and being a right little skiddie, although it could be useful for educating people about preventative measures if it's based around real concepts .

    No it wouldn't be like them atall. It would be similar to online text-based gangster games you see around.

    I've gotta be honest, I wouldn't do it. Numerous people have tried Text Based Games on here and they haven't been successful to say the least. I peronally find them quite dated.

    If you're going to attempt to make a text based game you should trying doing it around a popular genre.

    I agree with the above posts. If it is unique, original, updated and stands out from the others then i would give it a try. If it doesn't then it will fail so it is up to you.
