How-to: Flash Shoutcast Player!

OK I'm officially fed up with people asking for them, so I've decided to make my own player + code gen. in an effort to simplify the process for you people.

1. Go here:
http://apolva.com/player

2. Paste in your shoutcast DNAS URL

3. Copy/paste the code it gives you

4. Upload the file it links you to

That's it.

The current interface does admittedly look a bit ugly, perhaps someone could come up with a better design for me to code.

I'm not sure I understand the coding behind this.

Is the flash script actually taking the stream and converting it to a media type that's acceptable in flash before playing it, or does flash allow built in streams now?

I'm not a flash developer, and hopefully never will be

It's really simple, since a shoutcast radio is just (usually) an MP3 stream, so you just get it to buffer and play it.

Unfortunately not, it must be MP3 format.
