Default Laptop > TV > Size?

Now I've hooked up my laptop to my downstairs Sony Bravia but the size doesnt cover the whole 42", it's like half of it.

How do I make it full screen?

Try the TV settings, could be something up there, does it have an auto adjust or anything?

See if you've got an application provided by your graphics chip manufacturer. Intel, nVidia and ATI all have applications which let you do this. If that fails, try calling them.

I assume your TV is 1080p which most modern laptops should be able to output out of the VGA cable so you need it to be 1080p.

Also, if you've got a HDMI connection on your laptop that will work best.

    Hope this helps
