Apple on Wednesday invited select press to a special press conference to be held this Friday in California. Apple would only say that the press conference would be regarding the iPhone 4. No other information was available when I spoke with them tonight.
The topic of discussion, of course, is the iPhone 4 which has received much press over the past few weeks regarding a signal loss issue when it is held in certain ways. A Consumer Reports article reignited discussion of this issue earlier this week.
Interesting indeed, what do you think they will say?

What a load of crap, don't fall for these jokers. It took them 22 days to realise they need to hand out free cases?! I'm sorry but there's no way they're off the hook with that. People pay premium prices for Apple products because of their reliability and fantastic support, I no longer see how they can justify this seeing as it does neither anymore.

On their "Android" testing video. It just shown the bars go down, but they still have signal and able to send messages, do calls and load up internet pages. Where as the iPhone 4 actually has problems with that if you do the so called death grip. But Apple say most smartphones/phones have the same issue? When that isn't the case.
