    Default My friend.

My friend, Amy, told her friends that she liked this person a few weeks before. When she was on holiday she was texted that he dumped his girlfriend and when she came back she went to prom and that boy started talking to her there. Then they danced. Then they went to a partay afterwards and kissed. They then went to places together with other people, but they weren't all over each other all the time. The girl is moving soon and he knows that and has done for a while. She is trying to figure out if she should stay away from him, or keep it going, possibly through a long-distance relationship.

Also, if her mum found out she would not let her out and is strict in terms of relationships. Therefore she cannot tell her mum or she wouldn't be able to say bye to her friends when she moves.

Well it doesn't sound much more than good friends at the moment. If she enjoys his company why not carry on?
What will be will be when she moves. I can't see much point in worrying about what will or will not happen at that age.

It really depends if both sides can keep up with each other. It depends how much they feel for each other. They can always stay in contact, but try find other people then if that fails and they are both single and still long to be with each other then they could begin to interact more again and start dating.

I know how you mean when you say her mum wouldn't allow her to see him etc. But if Amy feels deeply for him then her mother shouldn't stop her.

I wouldn't say they should. - Their not full on serious and it could cause more problems with her mum

If they're not serious then they shouldn't but if they're going to be reasonable with it then they should.

In my opinion, long relationships don't really work because it's hard when you can't see the person very often.
