    Default Google adsense not working

http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js doesn't work for me. Is this a problem and does anyone know a fix? Maybe someone could open the source and paste it here so I could host the file locally if that would work.

    Thanks.

This may be a bit silly (it happened to me...), but do you have an ad blocker running in your browser. I had to disable it on my pages (locally and remotely) and then the adverts were shown.

I'm using the default Chrome setup with no ad blockers (that I know of).

Some security suites have built in ad-blockers, you could try turning that off.

It might reference other files from that one, so it still might not work for you.

It redirects me to a 404 when I visit the http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js link. I've disabled my Kaspersky adblocker (well, it was never enabled), so I don't know. They seem to work for everyone else so maybe it's not a bad thing.

If you've only just added it to your site, it takes a few mins / hours.

Maybe check your system32\drivers\etc\ and flush your dns?

If it works for everyone else it's your DNS. As Apolva said flush your DNS.

    If I remember correctly it's:

run: cmd (cmd.exe if not vista)
    type: ipconfig/flushdns
    Vouches

    Flushed DNS, no joy.
