Juicy July

Right, I've made this thread because last month was meant to be "Juicy July". Respectively, I saw a new Habboxforum Skin, Habboxforum Big Brother, Habbox Starz (which is something which is done anually anyway and is a HabboxLive thing) and well, that's it. The Awards system was created in June and unless I'm missing something, that's all the "special things" which happened in July.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, though, but I was rather disappointed because I thought it would have had some wonderful outcomes, but I personally found it pretty poor. I dunno if there was more meant to be planned or I'm just missing something, but it was upsetting to see this. Could someone tell me what I'm missing or why there wasn't "a lot" as it were, seeing as it was advertised massively. OK, the HxF Takeover as well but I thought that was meant to happen every month, it was just because of Oli's exams.

There were some more 'administrative' things rather than just community things as well. Infractions clearout (I think)? Ability to merge accounts, user rank changes (was this july?) etc.

It wasn't that bad, didn't live up to the hype they created but nothing ever does!

I didn't think the infractions clearout was July, sorry I forgot about the merging of accounts. What user rank changes? Care to fill me in?

Juicy July was meant to be a mix of administrative changes to the forum and two big competitions, the following large administrative changes occurred as planned for Juicy July:

- Summer Skin
- Infractions clearout
- Multiple Account Amnesty (you still have 'til Thurs to get all multiple accounts merged)

These administrative changes are huge, new skins don't come about often and Habbox Forum has only ever seen one infraction clearout before the one we did (deleting over 3000 infractions) - also we have never, ever allowed merging multiple accounts either.

On top of this in Juicy July we were to run two Big Competitions:

- Habbox Forum Big Brother (which was incredibly time consuming so nothing much could run along side it)
- Habbox Forum's Next Top Model (which failed to get many entries and has had to be cut)

The return of the Help Desk Takeover was also part of Juicy July as was the two Quick Quizzes on HabboxForum.

There were also several giveaways run during July, originally one of these was supposed to be linked in with Juicy July.

We named Juicy July and hyped it (only slightly, we only promised spectacular technical things which you have seen) because we knew a lot was going to happen in the month, and with 3 huge technical changes which have rarely or never been seen at Habbox - I think our purpose was solved.

If you looked in the Juicy July banner there were clues for what was going to come - there were references to "cleaning" as in clean slate - although these weren't as clear as I hoped and there was also a copy of the Big Brother eye.

I was also quite disappointed. I expected more competitions from the forum staff.
