I'm looking for an external hard drive cuz the hard drive in my laptop is pretty shocking, so where is the best place to get external hard drives from?
    Ebuyer? Or somewhere else?

eBuyer would be a good place to look, then if you find one you want to buy to a price check thing on google - you will probably find it cheaper elsewhere, but eBuyer is a really good place to search for things.

This might be a ******ed question BUT are hard drives compatible with PC's and Macs? If not i'll just wait until I get a mac and buy one then.

Anywhere which you can get one for a reasonable price. Amazon is quite good. You only get free delivery with ebuyer if it's over £50.

For double the price you can get a 2tb one

    Yes they are.

Why are you buying a Mac? You can get so much more for your money if you go with a Windows laptop like Dell.

And Dan, you can get free super saver delivery (says 5 day, I usually get it in two or three) for free on eBuyer whatever the cost IIRC.

Read their delivery costs page. Has to be over £50. And in small print it says for orders over 5kg add 30p per kilo.
