    Default iPhone 3GS or 4?

Still have like a week until I go out looking at the iPhones and everything, I decided I definately wanted an iPhone and origonally wanted the iPhone 4, but hearing about the signal losses and all the other bugs, I'm not too sure...
Sometimes I do hold my phone on the left hand side when I'm busy and I don't realize it, so the signal loss is a chance with me. Also I do tend to like, accidently drop things lol and I've heard that simply dropping the iPhone 4 could smash it to bits...
So, iPhone 3GS or 4? I also like the design of the iPhone 3GS better but yeah :L

My replies to these iPhone threads always have and always will be the exact same - go for the iPhone 4. Having owned one since they came out, I think I'd know that it's a fantastic phone. These bugs and signal loss issues are a simple blot on the landscape - they make virtually no difference to the overall enjoyment of the phone.

The signal problem is easily fixed by placing your phone down for a few seconds, then it reappears. The proximity sensor can be solved by pressing the phone slightly harder against your face or using the headphones + mic.

Seriously mate, if you got a 3G S then had a shot of a 4 afterwards you'd be suicidal, even the simple things like the screen resolution on the 4 is enough to warrant having one over a 3G S. And if your that bothered about dropping it and breaking it, Apple are giving away free cases to all owners of iPhone 4s, so already that issue is cleared up.

Nowadays I really don't understand why you would actually choose a 3G S over a 4, it's like choosing to buy an old Escort over a brand new top of the range Focus - the new one makes so much more sense.

iPhone 4 if you're set on going into the hellish world of Apple's control over their products.

I'm also considering a jump to Iphone, for what it is.. its mighty expensive, ether that or a jump back to the HD2, I've had enough of Android - There lack of full proxy support for business users is just shocking.

The thing is Apple products are expensive but they use the most expensive components. I saw the costings of an iMac on a website yesterday and if you used the identical components that Apple do to build a PC then it would cost considerably more than the iMac and you wouldn't have an operating system.

I'd go for the iPhone 4. No point buying outdated hardware brand new .

Everyone I've talked to that has the iPhone 4 has said that it's amazing and have no problems what do ever with signal etc. Not too sure how you can say it's crap to be honest, may not be to some people's taste but its definitely not crap.
