Since my suggestion was ignored it last thread cus everyone was arguing i will re-post it.

Seeing as some people like seeing who was the most active dj of the week and stuff, would it be possible to have a section on habbox.com main page saying. DJ Of the week = *Insert name* and a picture of there habbo as a reward for being the most active dj and getting a bit of recognition. Might also make the djs want to dj more to try and be that person in the spotlight?

This will become a competition tbh. The amount of slots shouldn't be something to give a DJ for DJ of the week. The reason the script was made private is because we don't want competition between DJs. This would be the same as keeping the script.

It's certainly something we could look into, most departments like to give out a monthly VIP prize to their "Top Moderator / Reporter / Designer" etc etc so perhaps this could be incorporated into your idea. I will talk to Jess and Gemma about it or direct them to this thread and we will see what they say!

No no no, while compeition can be a bad thing in some cases, its a good thing in other cases, DJ of the week is used on alot of other sites, and is something really popular. Maby it doesnt have to be done by slots, but can be done otherways like garion says below. However compeition to be the best dj is a good thing because it means the djs are always trying to find ways to improve themselfs to make them better.

I dunno, I mean comps have a staff of the month, so do news and so do a lot of departments but I don't think it should be shown on the front page. It could cause a lot of controversy on the outside, but I see no harm if it was just for the staff to know.

i dont understand how it could problems, if i was staff and won staff of week or month i would want some recognition and would want to show it off, its a pride thing. Specially for DJs, ALOT of sites, including big radios have a dj of the week, it gives them something to work towards to try and achieve.

and to your point off only staff knowing, whats the point in that? Another feature for staff only which separates users and staff even more, and makes staff even more up themselves, congrats

To be quite honest, sometimes pride can go a bit too far.
