I'm confused and sorta worried

I died while in a dungeon and then I went to the spirit thing that resurrects you, it says my inventory might suffer for 5 minutes, but I've been on since then for longer than an hour and I can't use my weapon at all. Can anybody help me. It's there when I go on my character [C], but it's not on my back and I have to use my fists (unarmed). Help please, +rep to anyone that helps.

When you resurrect from a spirit healer your items take 25% durability damage and you have reduced stats for a certain amount of minutes. It sounds like your weapon is broken, which means you don't get any stats from it and you can't use it. You need to talk to someone who can repair items (when you hover over them, they have an Anvil icon). Repair your weapon and all will be dandy.

Remember, you can resurrect with no resurrection sickness if you find your corpse

Do you know what would be good? If you read the tips that popped up. When it broke (e.g when you spirit ressed) a tip will have popped up saying it is broken. If it didn't that means that it has popped up in the past. They have massively improved the intro to the game and the new tips are very good so read them instead of posting silly questions here.
