Default There is a lump +Rep

I have a lump under this massive bruise and the bruise isn't like a normal black and blue bruise its yellow and there's like small red veins. I done it when I was out in the power boats I got it caught on something when I was jumping into another boat. However under the bruise I can feel a lump. Should I be concerned ? +Rep for advice.

Sounds like a hematoma, they are generally nothing to worry about and will probably disappear. If the bruising and lump remains for too long and pain continues to be severe, I would recommend seeing a doctor to be 100% sure however.

It's just a lump, it'll be a bit of swelling or whatevs from when you hit yourself. If it doesn't go away in a couple of weeks see a doctor but it's fine apart from that.

    Agreed with Garion,

Sounds like a contusion which is basically a bruise that has developed into a haematoma.

    Rest the area
Ice - apply ice but only for small amounts of time
    Compression
    Elevation

If it doesn't get better pop into your local minor injuries unit

One thread about your belly button and another one about a lump... obviously pregnant

I don't think this is anything to worry about, it's just a severe bruise. If it doesn't go down in the next week or so though it might be worth a trip to the docs.

LOOL I swear I'm not a hypochondriac I just get concerned about small things and I assume I have weird illnesses. But anyways on topic. I shall be going to the doctors if it does not go away soon ! +Rep to everyone who has posted

It sounds like what I had.

I had a lump under a yellowy bruise but after about 2/3 days, the lump seemed to of dissapeared, so just wait a bit and it should go

    Yes I can't spell

It could be some trapped blood but that'll only be guessing
