Default Best computer parts for the cheapest price?

My spare computer has just died after like serving me well for 5 years so i'm in need of a new one and i've realised it will most likely be cheaper just to buy the components and build one myself than going PC world who are a bunch of ****.

Where can i get the parts for the cheapest? Only site i've checked so far is ebuyer.

I have a tendancy to be lazy so can anyone like find me all the parts somewhere at good prices?

aria.co.uk and scan.co.uk are very well priced for parts too.

What's your budget and what do you want for that? Need a monitor etc included in the budget?

I recommend Scan for the best prices. I can't vouch for their reliability, as I haven't yet used them, but I know my friends haven't had any problems with them.

I do not recommend Aria though. Although they are very cheap, I have had many problems with them in the past, such as faulty items and such. Could just be coincidence that it has happened to me often, but who knows!

I also like Ebuyer. They may not be the cheapest, but they are very nice and easy!

As this is a spare computer which i'm like never gunna use i'm budgeting around £300, I'll settle with a dual core processor, 2gb RAM, a 500GB HDD and any decent Video card where I can play Steam games on without it lagging.

With screens I prefer to go to shops and buy it but if you know of any places where i can get a 19" monitor for considerably cheap that'd be good

    Thanks for the help!

eBuyer again, they always seem to have cheap monitors. Overclockers UK seem to be somewhat reputable and they rotate their sales every day, don't know what the prices in comparison to other places are though.

Vouch for Aria here, the only place that sold the OCZ Vendetta 2 cooler when I bought it, got it two days after placing the order and their support is fantastic.

Some of the ones I usually use:
    eBuyer.co.uk
    Scan.co.uk
    Aria.co.uk
    Overclockers.co.uk
    Novatech.co.uk
    YoYoTech.com
    CCLonline.com
