This isn't a rant saying the smilies are boring or anything, but I have looked on various fansites and they all have like smilies with the owners faces on (ClubHabbo) or sme user created ones (TryHabbo).

TryHabbo got some new smilies that I'm sure someone created and then you could decide which you wanted to use (I went with the user created ones) and I just really think they are unique.

So I was thinking why not do a graphics competition of making a whole set of smilies, then after it is over, the winner is announced then you can add them to the current ones, or let the members choose which they want?

No, please don't You can make decent Habbo smilies without making them too big for the posts because if they're small then you can't see what they mean, using ClubHabbo as an example.

Why do people always use other fansites as examples. Habbox is different end off.

We have Myke here for a reason - running a competition to get users to make them seems a bit "can't be bothered" really.

And on the fact of new smilies I swear they were going to be worked on not long ago.

Yeah but lots of the users asked for competitions like that to get the community more involved.

I think our smilies are just fine, we don't want to be like other fansites, we want to be original ;')

That's what I said Jord, but everyone is set against it. I never said they would have to go with them. I did say we could use the originals. I just feel it would give the member more choice.
