    Default [URGENT] RadiPanel help!

So, I have a huge problem.

I have been working on a website for quite some time now, and I'm using radiPanel to administrate it. I used XAMPP on my computer, and it worked perfectly.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to upload it and get it online, so, as you've probably guessed, I did it.

First thing I tried was to upload the files as is, and to import the admin.SQL file I saved off of my MySQL on XAMPP. Guess what? It didn't work.

So, then I delete all the tables, and re-implement the _intstall directory, and guess what? Nothing.

So then I deleted everything, except for the base website itself. So I removed radiPanel completely, and re-uploaded a fresh version of it to the website. And guess what? Yeah, you're right, again with the not working.

So here's what my problem is..
Every time I go to log into the panel, each option I used in the above, it would let me log in (yay). It showed the panel as it should look, the menu slides worked, I could see all menu pieces, everything. It was great. But then I go to click another link (anything, including clicking the home button while still on the home page), it would bring up a 404 error, saying:

    Not Found

The requested URL *censor*/admin/index.php was not found on this server.
    Or, in the other cases:

    Not Found

The requested URL *censor*/admin/core.changePassword was not found on this server.
As you can imagine, this is extremely frustrating, because I already have the website uploaded, it's linked where several people can see it, and it's making me look like a complete moron (Which, right now, I feel like).

So, basically it's telling me that the pages that are indeed there, aren't. I have the tables all correctly in order, the pages are all in their correct locations, the database information is all correctly entered. Trust me, I've checked a couple hundred times already.

I need help urgently if possible, because it's hosted on someone elses website, and my best guess is that if it's not fixed soon, it's going to be terminated.

I would appreciate any help possible, EVEN IF IT'S JUST A GUESS!!

    Thanks in advance,
    Daniel

Well its clear from the error message they are not where you want them to be...
You've either not uploaded them all or put them in the wrong place.

That's the thing. They actually are in their proper place, but it's telling me they're not. I've checked, they are indeed all there, and they are all in the proper place.

I'm not sure how RadiPanel works but do you maybe have to set the configuration file to know where the root folder is?

The requested URL *censor*/admin/index.php was not found on this server.
As far as I'm aware, there isn't even an index file in _res/admin?

The requested URL *censor*/admin/core.changePassword was not found on this server.
The URL for that should be _res/core/changePassword.php

    Because it isn't needed.

Guess what, you're wrong. The reason the issue is occurring is due to a failure to upload the .htaccess file included with the download, or that the host does not support mod_rewrite.

Well you see, my site is a sister site to a bigger one. The 'main' site uses a CMS to manage the articles, so I'm assuming mod_rewrite is supported, as their CMS works.

As for the .htaccess, I have included them in the upload, and even looked inside to make sure everything was in line, but nothing was showing signs of being wrong.

I'm fairly confident that the problem is the fact that radiPanel generates 'fake' URLs. I think something about my host doesn't like that, and they're not letting it happen. When I log in, it shows the main page (which ends up being admin/?) works perfectly, because I think it loads with ajax and doesn't change the URL in a way that effects the system itself.. I really don't know though.

If anyone has any more ideas, please feel free to post them.

If anyone has an alternative to radiPanel, please let me know, either as a PM here, or reply to this post. I don't have the time to wait for radiPanel to start working. I'm not putting down radiPanel, but I just need something that's going to work for my host.

    I appreciate all the feedback!
