The rice method does generally work, I know it's too late now but when technology gets wet you shouldn't really attempt turning it on until you have left it to dry out for a while.

I can't remember which method came out top nor can be bothered reading to see,
but the Gadget Show tested quite a few methods.

    click me.

    Hopefully that'll help.

Well seeing as you dropped your phone in the sink, your not the brightest bulb in the box.

Secondly how on earth did you mange to drop your phone in a sink? i think its wise not to take your phone into the bathroom whilst using it.

Third, try putting it on a dryer take battery out of phone, and put both on heater. MY bro done this and it worked. 3 Times. :L

    Lool, hope this helped!

i dropped it in the sink last sunday in the premier inn while i was getting ready. i take my phone everywhere with me like. i just put it on the side and it slid into the sink hehe. i had limited resources to dry it. i put the hair dryer on it for about 10 mins then put the battery back in. my e72 makes a vibrating boot when you turn it on and it's failed to do that

i suppose it will be to late to try that rice thing or something. I went in the 3 shop earlier and they said i'll have to pay £299.99 to get a new E72 ;/
