    Default Additional Monitor

I'm looking to purchase another monitor, for use in what will be a dual monitor set-up. I already have a 19" monitor and am looking for a small one to go in the corner of my desk for use on certain applications - which I will want running all the time.

I was wondering if anybody knew who sold any cheap monitors. I have limited desk space and don't really need a huge monitor. I have looked around, but small ones are hard to find.

    +Rep to any suggestions

If you have too limited space for another 19" you could get a rotatable monitor.

    For monitors I recommend Samsung

Monitors from 15" (Albeit touch screens )

    Edit:
Although you'd be far more productive to replace your 19" with a 24", statistics show that getting a larger screen is more productive than getting a second screen the same size.

You might want to take a look here for something that suits your needs. Computerdisplays is a company located in Cambridge that specialise in refurbishing used monitors so they're looking new and are in fine working condition. I've had a breif look and I've saw some monitors for around thirty to forty quid. Good luck.

any LG monitors are superb. I have found a beautiful 22" but I see it's too big for your setup

What kind of ******** advice is this? Show my these statistics please. You'll find that more monitors = more productivity. Have you ever tried switching between 2 smaller monitors and 1 not much bigger monitor? I doubt it. I now find it impossible to work on 1 monitor, whatever the size, I'm far more productive with 2 or 3.

I prefer to work on a single monitor rather than two at the moment, simply because manufacturers are still making screens with massive bezels around the edge that just look plain ugly when you put two or more displays next to each other. When they get that sorted with bezels of like 1mm for a DECENT price, then I will use multiple.

I can't remember the link to the article but the advantage it has is due to head movements. A larger screen increases in all directions where as dual screens you move sideways (generally).

Edit: http://techreport.com/discussions.x/14343 It can be found elsewhere also.
