In another thread I said I would give my feedback on Habbox and Habboxforum, as well as give some ideas on how things could be improved.
----
Forum Moderation
I know this first point is not going to be very popular as the changes were only implemented on Sunday. However I do not believe that there are enough moderators at the moment. I understand the concern of giving too much power out to too many people, however I think today's incident is a perfect example. It took twenty minutes to ban a spam bot who posted at least 16 times in the Technology Section with his posted about a 'Limewire Fix'. You cannot expect moderators to be on the forum 24/7, and this is why I think 8-10 Moderators would be a better number.
Habbo Donations
To be plain about it, a better scheme needs to be made for donations. When people offer to donate furniture, especially large amounts, Habbox should jump at the chance. However when I recently offered to donate some Battleball furniture - a few days after it was released - it was all very jolly, and suddenly all went quiet. I still have the furniture, and am awaiting someone to create a competition for it to be given away in. This isn't the first time it has happened for me, so I can only assume it happens on other occasions. My idea: Have a thread stuck on the 'Community Notice Board', with details on how to donate - and make a specific forum account whom users can contact to offer their donation. Then all someone needs to do is check the forum account once a week. This way the Donation's will not be lost in time - as, again I will make an assumption, Roxy must receive loads of private messages - so things can get lost quite easily. It is nothing complex - but it should hopefully improve the current situation. Also: Another thread should be updated regularly with who donated what, and to what department. For example:
People don't always want big thank you's and things - but I think noting who has donated what etcetera is just courtesy.Habbox Donations
A huge thank you to everyone who has donated furniture to Habbox - you can check out who has donated and what they have donated below!

The Rare Values Department
People are using the Market Place much more to get rare values now - so I think it is essential to keep up to date with rare values. I am not completely sure how to rectify this problem, however the values on Habbox are often out of date. Which, in my opinion, is the one thing that must not happen. I understand that you cannot compete with Sulake in getting the most accurate values. So, my idea: Since Rare Values websites are being less used, why not start to concentrate on writing articles for Rare Values. Write articles based on predicted Rare rises and falls, you could write articles on all sorts of things - that habbo players would read. If you wish to keep getting players on to Habbox give them something new. Give them something they can't get on habbo - so many habbo players would love to hear how they can make some profit.
Habbox Live
It is obvious the Habbox Live has lost listeners over the past year or so. It used to get 200-300 listeners most of the time - and now it struggles to hit 90. I think there are a lot of factors that have impacted this - the main one being Habbox is no longer needed for Rare Values quite as much - so people don't come across the website quite so easily. I think the key to Habbox Live climbing back up is to keep the current listeners. My idea: Perhaps more specific weekly/fortnightly shows should be brought in. Shows such as the 'Chart Show', '90's Show', Millennium Show (2000-2005) could be brought in - once habbo players find out about these, they may tune in - especially if they like that kind of music. It would bring more variety to Habbox too. Another idea: Room raids and games. DJ's should be encouraged to do games such as 'Find me - I am in a public room! To win the prize you must shout 'HABBOX.COM' in the public room you are in. Users like having fun - and getting Habbox advertising across multiple rooms can only be a good thing. Take advantage of Official Status you have.
Competitions Department
There isn't much to say about this department. But HC sofas are not exactly the most exciting prizes in the world. They are worthless on habbo now - credits are much more in demand - so users are probably going to be more inclined to enter if they like the look of the prize. My idea: I think you should have more forum based competitions. Why not have a 'quest' once in a while - I think one was done at easter.

Anyway that is it from me for now - I will finish tomorrow.

I remember when Lost-shark used to do trading tips but when he left, no one was able to take over even though I'm sure a few people including myself offered to do so.
