    Default Silent PSU

I gather from most threads people building computers are going for the 700W+ gaming spec PSU, but does anyone use a low wattage 'silent' PSU or know of a reliable brand/make/model? I'm building a HTPC and have no use for something that could be heard or uses more than 400W max.

    Thanks to any that reply.

    I would say Corsair CX400W...

But is seems they no longer make them . I imagine the 430CX is the replacement and will also be quiet.

Basically I'd look for anything Corsair or Seasonic on here http://www.scan.co.uk/Shop/Computer-...plies/60W-460W

Seasonic actually do a fanless 400W PSU, but I can't find it on any sites.

Would highly recommend a Corsair PSU. My HX620w has been silent for the past 2 years

The Be Quiet! Pure Power 530W I use in my main rig is silent (well, the brand name gives it away).
If you want to make sure its quiet,
    http://www.eclipsecomputers.com/prod...-SILENTK&af=50 would help.
