VM character limit

I think the amount of characters you can use in your visitor messages should be upped a bit. I think they're a tad short and generally when im talking with a few people, our VMs end up being massive and extending over 2 or even 3 VMs. We could use PMs yes, but sometimes you just start off with a small VM and its annoying to switch to PM once u wanna say something big and yeah, VMs are nicer in general too :>

Perhaps allow twice what is the current limit? Cant hurt surely

I did bring this up a while ago and I think that the limit was upped about 500 characters. It is extremely annoying having you use more than one VM for the single message lol.

The current limit should be 1000 according to the settings, do you really need it upping even more? I don't see why it would cause any problems. Will also have to hear from Nicola before any changes are made though!

Surprisingly its been annoying me a lot, but just decided to say something recently since it just happened to me :p

and sometimes u dont realise that u've written a really long message until its too late and then to switch to PM is an even bigger waste of time at that point. Also stalkers will think you're gettin blanked which we dont want now do we

I think visitor messages should be kept short so they are staying how they are at the moment.

If you really want a long conversation it's really not hard to start a private message or just post a thread in spam Plus, extending the character limit for VMs is only going to make the boxes bigger which in my opinion would make the profiles look a bit ugly. I really don't think it's that necessary when you can use Private Messaging.
