Killzone 3

Wow.

I got a chance to play the Beta back in early October and watch a few private streams between then and now. I'm not allowed to say a lot, I probably won't be able to say anything ever due to me leaving the site I wrote for, but I can say that Killzone 3 is set to play as the best first-person shooter of 2011. I played over ten hours of the Beta and even without any refinements the game is near perfection.

Is anyone else picking this up? I'm hopefully getting it to review.

this trailer was utter perfection imo. I watched it on vgchartz or w/e a few days back and thought im gonna try day 1 this when i was going to just bargain bin it. this is going to be so much better than KZ2

the question on my mind, is can it really compete in terms of awards? LBP2 and uncharted are pretty much going to cover PS3 GOTY or the general GOTY, thats what I think anyway.

I have no idea, but really it shouldn't matter given that we have so many contenders the real winners are us.
