Forum Updates ~ 09/01/11

Yes, it's that time of week again where we inform you of some of the changes that are being made around the forum. We don't have as many updates as last week but we do have a few!

Here's what we have for you this week:

• 3 character names are now allowed
• 'Fashion & Clothes' Forum renamed
• Name change rules clarified in FAQ
• RuneScape Bots rule clarification thread

It has been decided that 3 characters names are now allowed - This has been added to the FAQ under rule B1.

The 'Fashion & Clothes' Forum has now been renamed to 'Fashion, Hair & Clothes' as previously people have been confused as to where they should discuss hair and appearance. Hopefully this will make things easier!

The following conditions have been added to the FAQ regarding name changes to help users understand when they can and cannot have a name change:

Changing your name to something within the rules, that has not already been registered is allowed.
Changing your name to something that clashes with a member who has not posted and has not been online for an extended period of time is allowed at the discretion of the Features Managers and General Management who can, and will in some cases, refuse without any disclosed reason if necessary.
Changing your name to something that clashes with a member who has posted and has not been online for an extended period of time is not allowed.
