well there's loads of different lotteries but for the normal 'lotto', there's a 1 in 13,983,816 chance.
for euro millions it's a staggering 1 in 76,275,360 chance, yikes!

I read something similar but it was "you're more likely to get ran over by a bus than win the lottery" which is quite depressing.
