    Default Wifi

Hey, I've been having troubles with my wifi on my laptop lately. I have two other computers in the house. One is a desktop and is connected straight to our modem. The other is my mams laptop which connects to the wireless. My wifi used to be okay but lately it hasn't been connecting. Does anyone know why this way be?

I've reset the modem countless times. I don't think I have. Like, it connects for like a second and then crashes.

Try connecting through a CAT5 cable, see if that works.

Reinstall drivers on your laptop's wifi.

If other PC's can connect to the wireless then you know its your laptop.

Well CAT5 cable = ethernet cable = wired option to connect to the internet. Your Wi-Fi device will have some sort of driver, you need to find out the model and maker and see if you can find them on the internet to download.

It's a damn ethernet cable for god sake, people come here for help not to get even more confused by self-indulgent nerds. This section gets worse honestly.
