XBOX ring of death - on disks.

I have just recieved this from my xbox.

How could I get this fixed.

Some people on some other sites have recommended going to your local game(station) store to see if they could do anything about it, and some mates say they do some stuff about it but I'm just not sure if it costs.

Yeah if you have a game store near you, go in and ask them about it. They will fix the disc depending on the damage for quite a cheap price.

£2 for a disk repair at gamestation. i would advise installing all games.

It isnt a ring of death, just a laser burn.

Installing them just incase they carnt do anything - but the only thing is, my game will not load etc. - makes my xbox freeze.

I think he means next time install the game before you play it, it reduces the likely hood of that happening by a bit

I've had mine done at gamestation several times (back before install option) and it was £2 apart from once because id already been in that week and he did it me for free

This happened to my GTA 4 and I couldn't find anywhere that'd fix it!

Shouldn't Microsoft give you new discs? It is clearly a flaw with the 360. Why should you have to pay for it?
