I'm going to see it on Saturday, I don't really know what to make of it because at first glance it looks like a girly sweet film but after watching the trailer it looks quite dark and morbid.
Has anyone seen it?

oh ok, sounds like I might actually enjoy it then![]()
I saw it with my mum, we both thought it was very good. Hope Natalie Portman wins the Oscar, she more than deserves it for that performance. Perfect Blue is better though. I can't forgive Aronofsky for denying any influence from the film, they share too many similarities. Anyway, hoping to actually go and see the Swan Lake ballet now. How manly am I.

I liked it, it's pretty long but never feels slow so you don't get bored. It's not girly at all really, it's kind of like psychological horror.
I saw it last night and I thought it was soo good. It was intense and thrilling - like a lot of people think "Oh god, it's about ballet, it's gonna be ****" but it's so much deeper than that and it was good..

i downloaded it last night and though it was very very good.
Saw it last week and wasn't a huge fan of it however it is extremely interesting, just not my thing because it's quite gory and weird.
I don't like to blow my own trumpet, but I did actually blow my own trumpet..
I loved it, It's really different and I agree that Natalie should win an oscar.
it's amazing! like literally, film of the year for me. i've seen the kings speech as well, which is a close second. (mainly because of helena helena bonham carter!)
