My 12 year old friend smokes

I'm extremely worried about my friend, shes only 12 and she smokes!!! I went to knock for her a couple of days ago and when i walked in she was downstairs in her lounge smoking, also there was a big ash tray full of dead cigarettes. She made my other friend bring one to school with a lighter !! :0 then she was still smoking whilst walking to the bus stop the bus driver asked how long shed been smoking and she been smoking for over a year. now im really worried about her and if she doesnt stop im not willing to hang out with her.

and luckily I haven't smoked at all.

Im not sure what to do.. help?

Other than telling her to stop, there's nothing else you can do really. You can let her know its effecting your friendship but in the end its down to her. n i'd hardly call it lucky that you havent smoked lol...

how have you not noticed she'd been smoking for a year unless she's probably lying then ok ok
mmmm tell her to stop being such an idiot and stop now before it's too late
or just go on with your life don't give into peer pressure and watch her flush her money n health down the toilet

My mats do it aswell. There was this 'hard' year 6 comming for his induction day once, he got caught smoking weed on his first induction day and got expelled on the induction days lol. But yer my mates smoke aswell, i just let them get on with it and stay out of the way.

well there's nothing rly you can, does her parents know? i mean, i'd just leave it i wouldn't bother telling her parent's if they didnt know.
plus i tried it for the first time when i was 12 for like a week then stopped till i was about 14 so idk might just be a phase unless she really has been smoking for a year... dont hang out with her if u dont want to

ive only known her a cuple of months, she wasnt in my primary and id never give into something liek that even though so many people that i know smoke ( in year 7 )

yeah her parents let her! and i actully believe she has smoked for a year but i dont no for sure as i wasnt in her primary

Well there's nothing you can really do. You can choose to support her threw it and let her make her own decisions. Or you can stop hanging around with her and ruin your friendship.
