    Default GCSE Art Help,

Hi, I'm really stuck in my exam for Art.

I chose the word Mechanical for what my final piece has got to be around,

I'm not really doing more mechanical like cars, more like inside of watches and robots and stuff like that.

But I need 10 artists to do work around, and use their techniques in a preparation piece?

So, does anyone know any Artists that work around mechanical, preferable sketches and not just like physical models.

EDIT: Why don't you look at photographers if you are finding it hard to find specific artists who do mechanical art.

10 is a lot I agree, I'd say for mechanical themes you'd probably want to get into the futurist movement as that's focused around the sort of speed, power and technology ideas that you could quite easily incorporate into the cogs and wheels of what goes on inside a certain piece of equipment. Boccioni and Primo Conti are the only futurist guys I can think of off the top of my head but a quick google or wiki search would probably find you a load of similar artists

Your head of art is STUPID and shouldn't have told you 10 artists. You need to do 3 artists maximum & that's how many I did for A Level.

Mechanical is a really interesting topic, do something others wouldn't do like the mechanics of the body, something that stands out.

That's a good idea, my friend in yr 11 did that, he did it how the heart was like the motor, the legs are the wheels etc.
