Hard drive won't work on TV

I downloaded *Removed* and put it on my hard drive and then linked it up to my TV and everything else on my hard drive such as tv series' and movies works but this won't, it works on my laptop though.
The files won't play at all, does anyone know why/what I can do?

You'll need to convert them into something like .AVI with a codec the TV can support.
