Deleting threads - Forum Rules.

Hey, just looking through the rules. I thought you might want to update the rules. I've noticed gm deleting threads before and in the rules it says
We can (WITHOUT ANY PRIOR NOTICE) edit, close/lock, move, duplicated or publish any of your posted content because as soon as it is posted, you are the author of the content, but it becomes property of Habbox UK Forum.
it doesn't say you can actually delete any threads. thought you might want to update this.

I think it's extremely rare that a thread would get hard deleted. Usually when threads disappear they're just moved into an area of the forum where users can't see them. I'm not sure if that would require adding that they uphold the right to delete threads, or if it would just fall under permission to move threads.

Well adding it wouldn't be too hard and threads do sometimes get deleted so it'd be better to have it in there than not be mentioned. Plus, richie's thread like a month ago got deleted, just naming an example of when this has happened.

How do you know these has been deleted when they get moved out of public view?

I've only ever seen three threads get deleted at Habbox and they were when I was a Super Moderator. I'm pretty sure Richie's thread wasn't deleted anyway - just moved to an unaccessible part of the forum (for all).

HabboxForum will not advertise the deleting of threads as then we will get more requests to delete content which at the current time we do not do.

Well I got repped for one of my comments in that thread, and the thread link was not there and also richie said that he also couldn't view it so i'd assume it's deleted. was it not?

I moved that thread out of public view, didn't delete it, I did split a lot of the posts though and moved some of them into the General Management forums for reference - this may have caused the link problem.
