My 3DS arrived today. Have only been able to fiddle around with it for about half an hour and then I wasn't feeling all that great from the 3D effect so had to power down. Still, it's a pretty nifty and impressive console. Augmented reality is incredible if gimmicky. I'll play it more later.

Thanks for pointing out the biggest flaw :p
Half an hour playing, and you have a headache. 3D is a gimmick imo.
NGP looks much more impressive to me, looking forward to a full review for the 3DS though

An unboxing video will go up tongiht for those who like that sort of thing, and the full revie will be up this weekend or early next week.
People are going to have a LOT of problems with this console.

Some people just don't watch 3D films because they feel odd or get headaches while doing so.
So if you can't watch 3D films then don't get the 3DS i'm guessing,Bonjour, la noirceur, mon vieil ami

I can watch 3D films without being affected, but with the 3DS - using augmented reality at least - you literally have to move around your space.
