Never had that although I've not been on in about a month.
Used to go on it almost daily after the merge until recently.

I used to get that when I cloned using chrome and I just control f5ed and it was all fixed.

It's happenining to me too. The thing about the news though, on fireforx or internet explorer, the background of the news is transparent, which I like.. :s
