Talking Are these genuine? Monsterbeat headphones - studio.

Im going to meet a guy for some monster beat studio headphones - im paying £100 for them.
He seems like a genuine guy and has sent me pictures of them.
I know there is chinese imports of them which are very good imitations.
I just want you to be able to tell me if you think they are genuine.

Here is a website which shows genuine and fake ones. the ones of the left are genuine, ones on the right are imitations.

If you buy either you will get bad sound quality. That's your choice there.

If you're paying £100 for them of course they're not genuine unless they're really old.

When you say your meeting someone. Are you just meeting some random person, how do you know them e.g. is it via a friend. If not sounds kinda dodgy.

Skullcandy headphones get slagged off a lot, and I know the audio quality is a bit crap in comparison to Sennheiser and the like. But I happen to like them, and find them comfortable... especially my Ink'd buds.

Well, you answered yourself there, with the link Get the box (if there is one) and compare... look for the "tm" signs, they seem pretty obvious to spot, if there is none, they are fake?

No it's really not, they have pretty terrible sound compared to other, better headphones. For example my headphones cost around £100 and will run circles around any beats headphones without question except in the bass department, I could however buy the closed-back version which would allow them to (which I'm thinking of doing as these headphones are almost completely knackered).

No they're really not, if I remember correctly they're just rebranded cheapo £5 headphones, I forgot where I saw the image but that's pretty much what it is.

I'm into SoundMAGIC ear phones atm, the best quality you can get for relatively cheap tbh.
