    Default Friends or boyfriend?

I've been with my boyfriend for 15 months and we've had our ups and downs but overall we're happy.
But lately, well over the last few months, my friends just don't talk to me. I've tried stupidly hard to talk to them, I've arranged parties and camp outs and the next day they just go on not talking to me again. They all blame this on the fact that my boyfriend's there.
At school he's in the year above and his friends just go off and skive all the time pretty much so he comes and sits with me and my friends but they just ignore me now.
If I'm upset and one of them asks what up and I tell them, they use it as something to ***** about to each other and they just keep trying to find fault in everything that I do.
I don't know what to do anymore.
I don't know whether to go on a break or something with my boyfriend or just keep everything like it's going.
    :/

yr friends seem like *******, obviously need to get over themselves. don't make an outright boyfriend/friend choice; but don't chillax with them if they're just gonna be *****.

nah, don't potentially ruin things with your boyfriend over what sound like some petty little girls. if you've made the effort with them and they're still acting like that then i suggest you try talking to them about how you're feeling. if they're just being snide because you have a boyfriend then they're not good friends anyway.

Well maybe they don't want to be associated with people who bunk off their lessons all the time, it's a bad influence on them, but mainly on you.
That said, if they were real friends, they would pull you to one side and offer their advice and reasons why you shouldn't be with him. Ultimately, you should know better than to LET you're boyfriend bunk off lessons, have you tried talking to him about it? School is THE place to be, you hate it when you're there, but miss it when it's gone, make the most of it because it only happens once, and for the sake of a good and honest education, it's worth remembering it for the right reasons and not regretting it for the rest of you're life!

I would personally talk to him, if he doesn't see errors in his ways then I don't think he is even worth you're time, you can do so much better than that, once you have sorted out his problems, you can try to get him socially involved with your friends, as maybe the reasoning behind your friends ignoring you is because that they don't like your boyfriend. You'll also find that it could be YOU that is the problem, as most people do change whilst in the company of someone that they lust/love as they tend to want to show off in front of their friends, and most people like that in more ways than one, lose the respect of their friends as they try to act like they are #1 in a crowd of people. - Not saying this is you, but it could be a potential reason.

Putting all of that into account, this is a minor issue! You clearly don't have true friends. I am in the Army, among the most loyal people you would ever meet, and a simple boyfriend scenario like this is pathetic. If you had real friends then they would stick by you through thick and thin, no matter the conditions or who is trying to budge them out of you're life. I'd put yourself out there and make some true friends; that said it doesn't happen overnight.

I'm glad that we all hope and pray, but it takes more than that
We've been trying, we've been crying
Hoping that they will do more than keep lying
I need to believe that people can change
Or else this life has all been in vain
What's the point of fighting if we're fighting for a lie?

I just don't really want to be alone at prom or generally at and out of school. If i try and talk to them they use it as something against me. :/ xx

they ain't good friends then, find some new ones. once you leave school (this happened to me) you'll realise that friends aren't everything and sometimes perhaps it's better to be alone than taken for a mug (which is the way they're treating you btw).

I never went to my prom. Why?
Because I hated a lot of people at my school, we had to PAY to get IN!
So to sum it all up, I had to pay to get there, pay to get in, no alcohol was allowed and I would be in a confined area with a bunch of people I hated.
    No thanks!

Instead I got together with a load of my real friends and we all had our own prom at a friends house! Best night of my school life.

Sectional, not being rude but i think you read the bunking off school bit wrong. The reason that my boyfriend sits with us at lunch is because his friends bunk off school, he doesn't want too which is why he stay with us.
I've already paid for prom and a dress and stuff so I can't say no now.
I was hoping that once I went to sixth form everyone would go to college but they've all gotten into sixth form and they're now thinking about staying on. D:

Oh, My apologise - I guess I read that a little wrong.
Well half of it still applies.

But anyhow, everything changes when you leave school.
