    The NoteSlate



    The NoteSlate is a new device which will be being released June at an aproximate cost of $99. It will be 1-bit [running in only two colours] and features an A4 screen on which you can write on using a pen provided.



    The specs for the Device will be as follows:
    Dimensions - 210 x 310 x 9mm
    Active display - 190 x 270mm
    Resolution 760 x 1080px [1-bit display]
    Sd Card slot
    Classic USB Space
    Three buttons - Save, Show, Delete [default]

    Why isnt it colour screen is what i wan't to know :s

    1-bit is two colours because it's 2^1, if it were one colour it'd be 0-bit

    But White counts as the other colour doesn't it? So I assume it's like a kindle and can switch between white on black or black on white .

    Yes, I was just correcting the error in your post, technically it's not running in any colours because black and white are not colours, they're shades.

    What? Black is a lack of colour and white is an even spectrum of all colours.
