Got back from a 3 day holiday yesterday, my dog stayed at my grandparents house while we was away, she normally enjoys it and comes home happily, we went to pick her up yesterday and she's totally different, she doesn't bark when she hears things which she usually does, and when she does bark she cries, we don't have a clue what's wrong.
She often has problems with her ears, but she's never been like this before and it's really upsetting seeing her in pain.
Any advice, we are thinking of taking her to vets, but it costs loads just to get her checked up and don't want to take her if there's nothing wrong.

I personally don't think theres anything wrong the same thing happens to my dog too when we go on holiday, she may just be getting used to having you back i'm sure she'll be fine within a day or two.

Yea, my dog had to go in kennels, after 5 months of having him while we went on holiday, After a few days, he was all good once we got him home.
