    Default vBulletin Username Effects (VB3)

    Hey! again another VB question.. (God I'm a noob at these things)

    Anyone know any username effects and their codes?

    E.g. Sparkles, Chasing color, Rainbow colors (different letter different colour)

    Some of them can be css styling but for something like rainbow names, or the name effects on Habbox Forum we use Javascript. CSS styling would allow you to have a sparkling name because what you're essentially doing is adding an animated GIF image of sparkling to the background of the usergroup's username class.

    You have to go to usergroup manager and in the before HTML field put
    HTML Code:
    <span class='USERGROUPNAMEHERE'>
    and in the after
    HTML Code:
    </span>
    If you want to make that usergroup, say, red then go into template manager, and find additional.css for your template and you'd add
    HTML Code:
    .USERGROUPNAMEHERE { color: red; }
    I've also seen plugins to replicate the goal of the above tasks though I find those a lot more useless.
    I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.
