I'm trying to find out the type of ownership of the BBC and examples of these ownerships.

I'm rolling through pages that define the ownerships suchs as State-controlled (Public Service) Ownership, Private Ownership and so on.

And each link is telling me that, the BBC is a State-owned public service that is also privately owned (by The Crown)

Now can someone describe to me what the exact ownership of the BBC is :S

Think I've got the drift, Public service is really an ownership im just being a downie, it's a privately owned public service broadcaster LMAO but its not state owned, don't know why wikipedia is saying **** like public service is another term for state owned
