Cockchafer Beetle

Has anybody seen a few of these around recently? I've seen them a few times now, and they're huge compared to most flies we get here.

How big are they? Apparently they're common in East Anglia and I've not seen one at all :S

You mean may bugs? Yeah we get them alot here. I got attacked by a few one night many years ago
