Global Room Building Comp + Sad News

Are you up for the challenge?
They say a change is as good as a holiday, so we’re preparing to freshen things up in the Hotel! With a shift in the seasons upon us, we think it’s time our Hotel grounds got a little makeover.
We’re planning to keep the Public spaces visible during special occasions only, and so...
We’re giving you the chance to become the lead Architect and design the new 'Official' Navigator rooms!
But wait, there’s more! This is a GLOBAL room building competition, so we need the best of the best to represent our Hotel. This is your chance to have your room design featured in Habbo Hotels all over the world (AYE CARUMBA!)

HOW TO ENTER:
- Out of the following categories, choose ONE to base your design on and then build the best room you can:
* Pets OR
* Music/Parties OR
* Fashion OR
* Dating
- Important: Your room size must be large and it can not contain any 'Wired Text Messages' (other uses of Wired is fine though).
- Go to our Global Room Building Competition Facebook Event and post a screenshot of your room on the Event Wall. Under your photo please include your Habbo name, the category you have chosen AND a link to your room. You'll find the room link in your 'Room Info' box.

PRIZES:
Staff will select one winning room from each category to represent Habbo.com against the rest of the world. These lucky Habbos will receive a Gold Habbo Trophy, an exclusive Badge, not to mention the opportunity to see their room design visible in every Habbo Hotel... Now that’s a biggie!
A panel of judges in HQ will then go through the nominees from each Hotel and select three winners from each category. These will then become the new 'Official' rooms in the Navigator!

Talk about an exciting start to the weekend! So get building Habbos, we can do this! Entries close Friday June 3rd, 7am EST (that's 7pm in Singapore, 10pm in Sydney, 4am in Los Angeles and 11am in London). Good luck!

They're removing public rooms but replacing them with player-made, tacky ones which will be JUST like a guest room? How daft. I don't use Public Rooms at all tbh, but it's still a shame cos they've been around for so long.

The amount of time it takes me to find a reason to quit habbo decreases with every re-join. There's simply way too many horrible changes.

I really don't see why they're removing public rooms, and basically replacing them with guest rooms? Public rooms are different because they can not be identically rebuilt in a guest room. Anyway, I suppose at least we'll still see them during special occasions!

As for the competition, I won't be entering since you have to post it in their Facebook thing. The badge looks nice though!

I understand why theyre doing this it's simply because Public Rooms now have 0 to 3 habbos in them so no point of such useless rooms being around anymore however habbo has been restarted (merge) it would probably take time before public rooms get popular again but they seem impatient.

Seems a bit stupid to remove them tbh, it's a shame because they've been there for quite a long time it'll be weird having player made rooms as official rooms!
