Job Interview

Hi guys, I got a job interview this Thursday with River Island. My friend works in a different branch told me in the interview they do group interviews together and you have to do a presentation in groups and stuff like that, im really quite worried about the whole thing.

I was wondering if anyone could give some advice or post some website that can help me? Like with some examples of questions they may ask and so on.

Why don't you buy and interview book. It has stuff like how to preper and what questions they can ask you along with some good answers.

Never really thought about a book, my friend said the interview is very laid back and friendly and told me not to worry too much. Ill look in waterstones if there is any decent books

Most likely because its easier to find free tips on the internet maybe, idk!

If they ask the question such as "Why do you want to work here?" don't do what I done in my interview and go "Well, I need a job" because guess what, that don't get you the job.
When I went home, I then thought of a good suck up paragraph which you can alternate to what ever job such as in your case it could be "I occasional shop here and I have seen how friendly the staff are and I think that I have the skills required for the job" something like that.

Yeah, I am trying to use the phrase "fail to prepare, prepare to fail" so i'm really trying to prepare and get as much information as I can! Thanks Jordan

can't have changed much, however i am certain they will ask you about current trends/styles or ask you to pick out a suitable outfit for a theme.

An interview is all about selling yourself and appearing (even if you aren't) confident. I'm guessing there will be quite a lot of customer interaction in your role, so you want to make sure you appear approachable, friendly, and very confident. When they put you into groups, take charge straight away. Assert yourself and all that. There will probably be a section of the interview where you are questioned individually, so for that just swot up on possible interview questions.
